I’m sure everyone here already reads Dramabeans, but just in case, here is the link to the 2010 KBS Drama Awards recap.
I’m happy to report that the actors on King of Baking did well. I’m particularly happy about Oh Jae-mu (young Tak Gu)’s win, although I have to admit that I didn’t see the other kids who were also in the running.
Jeon In-Hwa picked up a Top Excellence award for acting Seo In Sook. I think she really deserves it.
I have no idea what the difference between Miniseries, Drama, and Special Production Drama is, but congrats to Yoon Shi Yoon and Eugene for winning best actors in the Miniseries category.
Unfortunately, there is only one category for supporting actor/actress, so everyone’s favorite Gu Ma Jun didn’t get an award.
Yoon Shi Yoon and Lee Young Ah picked up a Best Couple Award. Lee Young Ah looks so cute without that terrible boyish haircut that she had in the show.
I like how you don’t have to be the biggest budget show of the year to win big at an awards ceremony. Hooray to the writer, Kang Eun-Kyung, (and the other unnamed personnel) for making the most of the limited budget, for putting so much effort into a thoroughly detailed piece of work. It would be interesting if they would give out a Best Bang for the Buck award, just to ensure that money is being properly spent.
Yeah, if you haven’t already, definitely check out the pictures on Dramabeans’ blog.
